Press release · 2 November 2026
Masters of Motoring is proud that Longleat Motor Show Weekender has been selected as one of three finalists in the Motoring Spectacle category, supported by Bosch, of the 2026 Royal Automobile Club Historic Awards.

The inaugural event on 27–28 June 2026 welcomed thousands of visitors. Historic motoring displays and live rally-car demonstrations brought owners and visitors together at the Wiltshire estate.
Longleat partnered with Masters of Motoring, Great British Motor Shows and the Lombard Rally team to bring the Weekender together.
Steve Bishop, Founder of Great British Motor Shows and Masters of Motoring, said: “Longleat was both our host and our partner. The support of the entire team was invaluable, and we are looking forward to working with them again for the 2027 Weekender which takes place in July.”
Scott Ashman, Head of Operations at Longleat, said: “We were delighted to be selected as a finalist; it is testament to the hard work of all involved, feedback from our guests, the team on site plus every owner, club, visitor and member of the event teams who contributed.
“We are very pleased to be working with Steve and the team to bring the event back in summer 2027.”
Thank you to everyone who supported the Weekender, including Deacons Goldsmiths of Swindon, our 2026 jewellery partner.

The winners will be announced on 19 November 2026 at the Royal Automobile Club in Pall Mall. Looking ahead, the next Longleat Motor Show Weekender is on 3–4 July 2027.
The organisers are welcoming expressions of interest from owners and clubs for next year. Said Steve: “With 2027 marking Ferrari’s 80th anniversary and 40 years since the launch of the F40, we are also exploring an anniversary display. Ferrari owners, particularly F40 owners, are invited to get in touch. The display and final line-up remain subject to confirmation.”
