About Alpine
Founded in 1955 by Jean Rédélé, Alpine is a French manufacturer that gained recognition for its success in motorsport, specifically rallying. In 1973, they emerged victorious in the World Rally Championship. Throughout their history, Alpine has developed iconic models such as the A110, A310, and A610. After a brief hiatus, the brand was revived by Groupe Renault in 2017 with the launch of the A110 sports car. Today, Alpine continues to prioritize producing high-performance sports cars that combine modern technology with timeless design elements. With a dedication to innovation and performance, Alpine remains a prominent contender in the sports car market as of 2024.
In August 2018, the initial batch of vehicles, known as the Premiere Edition, was distributed by the brand. Only 1955 units were made globally, which also happens to be the same year Alpine was established.
In 2018, two new models were introduced following the original Premier edition of the Alpine A110. The first was the Alpine A110 Pure, a stripped-down and lightweight version designed for pure driving pleasure and performance. The second was the Alpine A110 Légende, which offered a more luxurious experience with added comfort features and premium materials. At Le Mans 2019, the high-performance Alpine A110S was launched with increased power output and sportier handling characteristics. Over the years, we have also released special editions but currently our lineup consists of the A110 Pure (formerly known as Légende), along with the GT and S models boasting 300hp. Additionally, we have a high-performance A110R which recently came in a close second to a Porsche 911 GT3 RS in several tests conducted by publications such as Evo Magazine and Auto Express.
