Hennessey, the renowned Texas-based company known for crafting hypercars and high-performance vehicles, has presented the revamped Venom 775. This impressive pickup model is based on the Ford F-150 and boasts a supercharged V8 engine that delivers greater horsepower and torque than both the factory RAM TRX and Ford Raptor R.
With its stock configuration, the Ford F-150 equipped with the 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V8 boasts impressive numbers: 400 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. The technicians at Hennessey, have applied their expertise to this truck by attaching a 3.0-liter supercharger to increase air intake pressure and incorporating an air-to-water intercooler to lower the temperature. Additional upgrades include a boost in fuel injectors and fuel system capabilities, as well as the installation of a high-flow air induction system. To reduce back pressure and improve the exhaust sound, a stainless-steel cat-back exhaust is also added.
Performance in numbers
Enhanced by Hennessey’s Engine Management Calibration, the mechanical enhancements result in an impressive 775 bhp and 727 lb-ft of torque, representing a remarkable 94% boost in power and a 77% surge in torque. The resulting performance is nothing short of stunning, with a lightning-fast 0-60 sprint of only 3.6 seconds and a quarter mile time of just 11.9 seconds.
Hennessey improves the chassis of this vehicle by adding a 6-inch lift and 20-inch ‘Hennessey’ 10-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in 35-inch off-road tires, enhancing its capabilities off the road. This is paired with an upgraded suspension and multi-piston Brembo brakes with red calipers that not only shorten stopping distances but also add a bold visual element. At the front and rear, a ‘Hennessey Venom’ bumper is complemented by LED illumination for both functionality and style. The entrance and exit are made easier with power-operated AMP running boards. Unique touches like illuminated front badge and fender vents give the vehicle a distinct look, while embroidered ‘Hennessey’ head restraints and special Venom 775 badging elevate the interior design.
According to John Hennessey, the Venom 775 is a top-of-the-line sleeper pickup truck that outshines stock TRX and Raptor R models in terms of power. This upgrade offers unmatched performance, both on- and off-road, while still maintaining the legendary capabilities of the F-150. Additionally, it is designed to seamlessly integrate with premium trim levels, so there’s no need to sacrifice luxury either.
Only 250 units of the Venom 775 will be produced.

Hennessey is truly fulfilling its mission of ‘making fast cars faster’ like never before.
I personally like a good truck – the workhorse of my own is a Ranger and so far its been pretty faultless although a bit more power in the form of a Hennessey tweak would be an interesting one to add to the mix!
